Translucent Meteorological Tower by Deubzer Konig + Rimmel Architekten
The Technical University of Munich’s advancement of a weather tall building has turned out to be an iconic sign for the site. Deubzer Konig + Rimmel Architekten’s 62 meter semi-transparent tall building holds up a sequence of climate feelers at five heights gathering statistics for the collage’s exploration plans. The treaded tangible center of the service is covered in a curved Plexiglas shell which offers a partly translucent layer. The layer is connected to a sequence of metal rings which drift off the tangible walls by straight poles and perpendicular guy supports. Piontwise connections make an allowance for a level changeover per level of the layer devoid of sustaining channels. Nocturnally the tall building is internally lighted up to shoot every part of the construction via the shell. A sequence of reachable inner platforms presents a sheltered meeting place. The tower is called after Oskar Von Miller, a greatly honored German Electrical Engineer.
